100k Ultramarathon to support Doctors For Nepal.
Hi everyone!
I’ve decided to take on one of the biggest challenges of my life: running my first 100-kilometer ultramarathon from London to Brighton. On 24th May 2025. This isn’t just a race for me—it’s a check-in point in my life, a moment to push my limits and reflect on where I’ve been, and where I’m going. Some might call it a mid-life crisis, but I prefer to think of it as a mid-life awakening—a chance to prove to myself that I’m capable of more than I ever imagined.
But this journey isn’t just about me. It’s about something much bigger. I’m running to support Doctors for Nepal, an incredible charity dedicated to improving healthcare in rural Nepal. In many parts of Nepal, people face unimaginable challenges just to access basic medical care. Imagine walking for days over rugged terrain, carrying a sick loved one, just to reach the nearest clinic. It’s a reality for so many, and it’s something I can’t ignore.
By running 100 kilometers, I hope to raise awareness and funds to support Doctors for Nepal in their mission to train and equip healthcare workers, build medical infrastructure, and bring life-saving care to those who need it most. Every step I take will be for those who walk long distances not by choice, but by necessity.
How You Can Help?
I can’t do this alone. I need your support to make this journey meaningful. Here’s how you can help:
Donate: Every pound, dollar, or euro you contribute will go directly to Doctors for Nepal, helping them train healthcare workers and improve access to medical care in rural Nepal.
Share: Spread the word about my fundraiser! The more people who know about this cause, the greater the impact we can make together.
Cheer Me On: Your encouragement means the world to me. Whether it’s a message of support or a thought on race day, it will keep me going when the miles feel long.
