$10,000 for Tennyson
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Stacey Deerfield. On August 14, 2023, my son Michael passed away unexpectedly. Michael was a compassionate, funny, giving and intelligent person. He had recently went back to Marshall University to get his masters degree. He played the piano. He was very active in the recovery community believing that every person has gifts and potential. He believed that every person deserves joy in this life. Michael leaves behind his joy, a beautiful son named Tennyson who is 8 years old. Michael had enrolled in life insurance with his employer but was a few days short of the qualifying date of September 1, 2023. This has been a devastating time for all of us. I would like to be able raise $10,000 that they would have received in life insurance. This money will help with housing expenses, food, clothing, school and any other items that Tennyson will need to move forward in a healthy way. He will need some grief counseling. Tennyson has a wonderful mother that is devoted to him, but she is without any resources unexpectedly with a child. That is scary. At some point, she will begin to receive Social Security but she cannot get an appointment until October. I’m doing as much as I can do to help her. It’s not enough. Everyone has been so compassionate about Michael’s passing and I’m hoping that many of you will feel lead to give what you can. - with sincere love and appreciation,
