10,000 feet Skydive for the Alzheimer’s Society!

Hi, my name is Abbi-Rose I am 17 years old and need your help to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society!

Me, my Family & Family Friends are raising money in aid of the Alzheimer's Society by doing a 10,000 Feet Skydive on May 24th 2025. I am taking this jump on behalf of my Auntie Cherie who passed due to vascular dementia at a young age, and I want to help support other families going thought this life altering experience.

As a child It was hard going to “auntie cherry’s” because I didn’t understand what dementia was, it was even harder going to see her when she one day didn’t know my name or recognise me at all. This was a lot for me as I was only young and it made me so angry that something invisible could take away memories so quick. A few years later, the day she died, I subconsciously set a goal that one day I would do something to raise money for others who were in my family’s position, in memory of her while creating a life long memory for myself. I hope when taking this jump me, my family and family friends can create a positive impact in somebody’s life struggling against this invisible illness.
