Hi everyone,
I’m organizing a surprise fundraiser for a wonderful friend of mine, Rosie. Rosie runs 100-mile races in honor of her son, Dexter, who tragically lost his life to military suicide and PTSD. Running is her way of keeping his memory alive while also honoring other heroes who are gone too soon.
This year, Rosie has taken on multiple 100-milers, including the grueling UTMB, and her gear has taken a beating. As she prepares to reach an incredible milestone, her 100th 100-miler, I’d love to rally support to make sure she has what she needs to keep going strong.
We’re hoping to raise $700 to help cover essentials:
$300 Coverage Fee for Cherry Springs 100 Miler
A new pair of HOKA sneakers (up to $200)
A new running vest (around $190)
Fueling food and race support along the way
Every donation, big or small, brings Rosie closer to the start line of her 100th race and shows her she’s not running this journey alone. Your support will not only keep her moving forward but will also honor Dexter and the heroes she runs for.
If you’d like to contribute, you can donate directly toward her races or toward the new gear she needs. Every penny truly makes a difference.
