10 Miles a day Spin- 31 days. Bournemouth Lifeguard Corps
DAY 31 COMPLETED!!!!!!!!! 20.02.25
CHARITY TIDE COMPLETED . 320 miles cycled.
Helllooooo all,
So, I have decided to set myself a challenge and cycle 10 miles a day for 31 days. This will be done on my Peloton Spinning bike with the majority of the ride being 80+ resistance. The best thing about this is that I will be raising money for a charity that has been a big part of my life growing up. Bournemouth Lifeguard Corps (BLGC) Charity number 1166158. Please read on! Vvvv
Bournemouth Lifeguards has been around since 1965 and is 100% voluntary. They work alongside the RNLI, providing safety cover for events such as the Bournemouth air festival, Brownsea Island swim, Dartmouth 10k swim, and the British Heart Foundation Pier to Pier swim. Teaching lifesaving, water safety and first aid skills to club members 8 years to adults, in the pool and at the beach, throughout the year is their main commitment, including training and competing in lifesaving competitions!
I entered many swimming + (Inshore rescue boat) boat competitions during my time with BLGC at both National and International levels, returning home with medals. I was then recognized by the Great Britain Performance squad who invited me to train with them-all thanks to Bournemouth Lifeguard Corps. I gained so much skill & first aid knowledge from the club, I then passed this on by training my small Rookie lifeguards (8 - 10 year olds).
BLGC continues to save lives on land and sea, assist the public and train our future generation of lifeguards!
It would mean the world to me if you gave me a cheeky sponsor.
Thank you so much.
