Hello, my name is Max Penman, and I unfortunately lost one of my best mates, Puddy, on the 11th of December last year. My friends, family, and I are all coming together to run a 10K and half marathon on the 14th of December in memory of our good friend, who is sadly no longer with us.

Puddy meant so much to all of us — he’ll never be forgotten and will always remain in our hearts and minds. Taking part in this run in his name makes it that little bit more special and an absolute honour.

I’ll be raising money for An Hour for Others, a local charity based not far from where Puddy lived and grew up in the West Derby area.

An Hour for Others is an amazing charity that supports people of all ages. They’ve helped many young people through tough times and made a real difference in their lives. The work they do is truly unbelievable, and I’ve seen it first-hand — so it’s a real honour to raise money for them, and to do so in my mate Puddy’s name.

Any donations or support would be hugely appreciated as I work towards reaching my target for such a special charity. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and for helping me honour Puddys name.
