Help Henrietta continue to share free food @1womanfoodbank

Henrietta has lived in Bermondsey for over 30 years and started her own food bank after the one at the local church had to close. Since then she has set up her food bank every single week come rain or shine to help those in need in the local area.

"Some of our neighbours, they are housebound, they don't really go out much and I knew they needed some help.

"Because of pride, people don't want to say 'I need this'"

Currently she relies on shopping bags and public transportation to collect and distribute food donations, most weekends making several journeys to set up her food bank outside Bermondsey Station.

It has become physically challenging for her to carry everything by herself with shopping bags and even though sometimes she has volunteers helping her, she often does this alone.

This is why we are launching this GoFundMe campaign. The funds raised will go directly towards provision for the foodbank bank and also transport options to make transporting the food easier.

It will allow for more donations to be collected and make it easier for Henrietta to continue to do this for a long time.
