Jake and Tiffany Weber are two of the most caring and compassionate people you could ever meet, and I have had the privilege of their friendship for over 8 years now. They would do anything for anyone and their generosity knows no limits. Right now they are going through something that no parent should ever have to go through and I know many people have been asking how they can help. Since I know they would never ask for help themselves, I created this account for them so others can offer their support.

Jake and Tiffany recently welcomed their third son, Daxton (Dax) to their family. Daxton means "warrior who conquers great obstacles" and this little one has lived up to his name since day one. At Tiffany's 20 week ultrasound, they were alerted to a concern regarding his brain and spine (due to elevated fluid) and at 32 weeks doctors discovered an intestinal blockage. Even though Tiffany gave Dax the best prenatal care, these issues developed in utero and the doctors aren't sure why.

Dax was born 5 weeks early at Froedtert and was immediately transferred to Children's Hospital, where he has had a team of specialists caring for him. While at Children's Hospital, Jake and Tiffany were also informed about Dax's "interesting rare find of his heart." He had major surgery on his intestines when he was less than 48 hours old and it is still unknown if he may need to face additional surgeries. Daxton will continue to be monitored in the NICU for an unknown amount of time and will receive follow up care from all his specialists over the next year. After that, doctors are hopeful that he'll only need yearly checks.

Jake and Tiffany have put their faith in God and trust that Daxton will continue to heal and be able to come home soon.
Prayers are still needed for the Webers, but financial help is also needed.
While Jake and Tiffany are spending as much time as possible with Dax, they also have Dax's big brother's, Colton and Bowen, at home that need them as well. Because they are such amazing parents, they have come up with a great plan on how to split their time so they can see all 3 boys and each other. They are so thankful that Jake is able to take time off of work, however, with the extended time off needed to care for his beautiful family, I know their expenses are growing. I'm hoping we can ease some of the financial burden so they can focus on the most important thing - bringing home their baby boy.

Please keep praying for Daxton, the little warrior, and if you are able to donate, please know that it's going to a very deserving family who truly appreciates your kindness.
