As a team, we celebrate Grief Encounter’s 20th anniversary with an extraordinary trek to the stunning landscape of Lake Bled, Slovenia! Along with some very special friends of the charity, this exclusive trek promises unforgettable experiences and a chance to make lifelong memories, alongside a safe space to open up about our journey with grief. We will be climbing 20km a day for 3 days (Equivalent to Ben Nevis every day!) and taking part in wellness activities such as cold water plunges, to push our bodies, whilst having a mental break.
Can you support us this October, as we take on a 3-day hike across Slovenia, to remember our loved ones? All of the funds raised will support bereaved children, young people, and their families to find hope and healing.
- A £10 donation can fund a specialist bereavement storybook for a child, using stories to help younger children understand feelings of grief
- £15 Mr. Good Grief teddy bear, our unique comforter which younger children can bond with
- £20 a Good Grief workbook for a bereaved child or young person, giving them a structured way to understand and process their grief
One child in every classroom is bereaved of someone close. We need all the support we can to be able to offer the tools, safe space, and therapeutic services needed after the death of someone close.
Every pound, every step is a journey towards a world where no child grieves alone.
