We DO have room in our CIRCLE for another VANHORN.
We are the VanHorns, a growing family, with eight children, six we made, two we found, one adopted son and one foster daughter. We are entering the BONUS round of our adoption adventure(s). For several years we prayed, as a family, for the little one God would add to our circle. At the beginning of this year, after a long and heart stretching experience, we finally were able to adopt our son, Dawson. He is an absolutely wonderful addition to our family and we are totally crazy about him and thankful for ANSWERED PRAYER.
Before we got to his GOTCHA day we found out that he had a little sister who also needed a family. So, at only 10 days old, a very precious 'sweet baby girl' joined our family as our foster daughter. She was able to be with us as we finished our nearly two year journey with Dawson and she was there when the judge declared him a VANHORN.
NOW it is HER TURN!!!
Just recently and rather surprisingly her mother signed away her parental rights making our little foster daughter an ORPHAN. So tomorrow we sign papers so that she can enter our ADOPTIVE care as we pursue adopting her and giving her a FOREVER FAMILY. That's where you, our family and friends and friends of friends, can really come along side our growing family.
Her adoption is considered a private adoption and we are responsible for the entire cost of the process. Even though our son and baby girl are half-siblings her adoption is considered a separate adoption. So just like her big brother she will become a VANHORN without state assistance or compensation of any sort.
So IF you are able to GIVE toward this worthwhile expense we'd really appreciate it. ANY amount helps. Believe us, it all adds up and together we can accomplish this. You're invited to become a part of her story by making it possible for us to make room in our circle for another little one. One day, just like we will do with Dawson, we will sit down with EMERSON and share ALL the names of every single person who gave part of their valuable resources because they believed that she should become a part of our family. Our timeline is SHORT as we expect and hope that this process will move more quickly than Dawson's.
