Aspergers Family House Move

Donation protected

**Update**:

We are moving into Emergency Accommodation.

The council has a normal 3 bedroom house, that we can take the cats into and have a normal life in, but we have had to write a waiver absolving the council of any blame should TOH have an accident due to the stairs & his back.

This is the best option that we have, so our campaign may not be as urgent as before - we will only have to move again when we find a permanent home.

As you can see, we have now changed the goal amount to enough money to be able to move again and I have added rewards to the campaign.

The rewards will be awarded at the end of the campaign, so if you have already donated, I will contact you then.

Thank you for visiting and if you can't donate, then please share our link!

Original Story
: Like many families in the UK, we were living in a privately rented house. As the house had three bedrooms, when it was just us and our son, there was no problem; the space and calm atmosphere was there to spare.

Our House - the one on the right...

Once my first daughter joined us, things got tighter and more awkward, but livable. My second daughter's arrival pushed the house to its limits. We decluttered, rearranged and shifted things around to a faretheewell.

My son was in the smallest bedroom; as a teenager, he doesn't need much space, all his things are electronic and small! My first daughter was in the bigger room with her toys and we had decided to put the baby in with her. Why is this a challenge?

My Fiance (of Nineteen years and counting) has Aspergers Syndrome. My Son also has Aspergers Syndrome. Both require a "cave" of sorts to retreat to, a place that is entirely theirs and completely quiet, private and calming.
We recently found out that our elder daughter has Aspergers as well. Putting her in a room with the baby is going to be a huge challenge!

Our only choice (other than moving house) was to give the baby our room and move ourselves onto the sofa bed in the living room. Which was not conducive to my Fiance's well being at all.

For definition and more information about Aspergers Syndrome and the needs of people suffering from it, please access http://www.autism.org.uk/

In light of these challenges, we are running a fundraiser to collect enough money for the deposit, two month's rent, and moving costs for a larger home, to provide our children with a comfortable, safe, and balanced environment.
Anything left over from the move will be used to paint and furnish the children's rooms.
