East Meadow American Legion

The American Legion Memorial Post 1082 needs help. We are a place were many Veterans meet and are active in the community. This building was built in 1891 and became and American legion on the 1930's. This is the last Veterans hall in the town of East Meadow, NY. During hurricane Sandy, we provided a warm place for those without heat or power. We were designated as a warming center. Additionally, local groups meets here, such as the VFW, the Nassau County Police American Legion Post. New members are always welcome !  

We need your help !  The funds would be used for a new roof, plumbing, and electrical work. Any donation you can give will help.. Every little but helps. All donations are also tax exempt.
