Doors NOT Walls, is a grassroots organization of volunteers, and this crowdfunding campaign is being established to counter the Trump administration’s goal of building a wall along the U.S.A./Mexico border.
We are a San Francisco based group that wants to acquire plots of land in all four states along the USA/Mexican border and then build “Freedom Doors” that would welcome immigrants to the U.S.A., thus disrupting the intent of the government’s border wall.
Our initial goal is a modest $5 million, a small fraction of what the federal government is seeking to build their wall. Once we reach that number, we will begin to acquire plots of land in California, Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona. With that land secured, Doors NOT Walls will start building the Freedom Doors. And later we hope to establish Sanctuary Stations to aid immigrants seeking asylum.
We believe that the only way to deal with the government of Donald Trump is to take action ourselves and not to wait for any government agency or corporations to come up with a solution "some day in the future". We need a solution now!
We need the support of all who believe in freedom to spread our message across the internet. Please help us, to help those seeking an Open Door.
