Davis Shore Ferry Florence Relief

The Mitchum's (DSFS) have always gone above and beyond to make my trips to Core Banks and Davis Island memorable. Until Ferry Dock repaired and they are back online, family faces unemployment and now have the added expense of a rebuild, not to mention no way to paradise.
Consider donating at or above the $$$ level you would have spent on your trip this FALL. Some had several trips planned in coming months. Will run the campaign as long a people are giving.
WE will make donation on behalf of members of DIFF and the Core Banks fishing community to the Mitchum's as the funds build.
Funds are needed immediately to begin house and dock rebuild.

2. Where you're from- Raleigh NC
3. Your relationship to the parties you're raising funds for- Friends since 1998
4. How the funds will be used (be specific as possible)- purchase planks, roofing, flooring, piles, labor and other goods to rebuild their home and livelihood.
5. If you intend to withdraw the money, how you plan to send the funds to the parties you're raising money for or use the money on their behalf. The funds will be sent to the parties via their daughter (who also lives nearby my church) either as cash or visa gift card. First disbursement Sept 28.

To help us finalize our review of the campaign, can you please provide the full names of your ultimate beneficiaries (whom the funds will be delivered to outside of GoFundMe)? Lanier, Annette and Mitch Mitchum and others supported by the Davis Shore Ferry Services.
Also, before we can get withdrawals started for your campaign, you'll need to post an update on your campaign that explains to your donors:
1. How you are related to your beneficiary - have been friends with the Mitchums since 1998.
2. That you will be withdrawing the funds in your name** Withdrawal will be in my name (Larry Mitchell) and cash will be delivered to help rebuild the DSFS
3. How exactly you will be delivering the funds to your beneficiary. With large bills in envelope with names of the donors listed on card. Cash is best during times of Hurricane Recovery as Contractors and Labors prefer it and the banks are experiencing rebuilds and are not convenient to the work site. Will meet their daughter (or Annette) in CARY Sept 28 and she will ensure the funds get to DSFS to pay for rebuild. To date $4872.75. Any funds after this initial disbursement will be sent the following week. Will update everyone on the DRUMWAGON site. Larry
