Dear Friends, as you are all aware, Dasha and Mitya will soon be welcoming their newest family member - Igor (Harry) Dmitrievich Bosykh!!!
As you probably also heard, there is no “baby shower” tradition in Russian culture and moreover, there are some scary superstitions about this!!!
Although we generally do not believe in superstitions, delivering a baby is a very special case, thus Dasha is very against having a traditional baby shower. Still, most of us would like to be involved in this magnificent event and to greet Igor-Harry Dmitrievich with some gifts. Therefore I suggest using this page to generate a pool of money for this gift. I know that some furniture for the baby is on the list, but not enough funds are available yet.
