Thanks for visiting our adoption page. For those who dont know us, Brian and I have been together for the past 17 years. We had our committment ceremony on May 22, 1999 and were legally married in Pennsylvania on May 20, 2014. Neither of us imagined we would see marriage equality in our lifetime. We have always discussed the desire to have a child, but the time just never seen right. I returned to college at the age of 36 and graduated nursing school at 40. I returned to college again in 2008 and graduated from Eastern Mennonite University in 2010 with my BSN. I work for a local hospital in Lancaster, PA and Brian is a lab technician at a hospital in York, PA. We built our house in York, PA 5 years ago and now want to make it a home where we can share our love with our own children. We originally decided on one child but are now open to siblings which increases the costs of adoption. We decided to create this GoFundMe account to allow others to be a part of our journey.

Every person who donates to our adoption becomes a part of our story; a piece of our puzzle. Here's how it works:
-We have selected a 500 piece puzzle; every piece symbolizing someone who helped make it possible bringing a child (or 2) into our lives.
-Each piece is a minimum donation of $10.
-You can choose to be one piece of the puzzle or several pieces of the puzzle.
-YOUR name will be written on the back of each piece you represent.
-After the puzzle is completed, we will frame the puzzle and proudly display it in our home. YOU will be a part of completing our missing piece to the puzzle!
