Help Support Timor-Leste Students

Hello, we are the venturer group of 2nd Woodend Scouts. As a scout group, we are travelling to Timor Leste in early July for a journey to support a school 35km from Dili. Together, we are hoping that we can provide Timorese families with homes and school supplies to support their developing nation. 


In 2018, our scout leader visited the Timorese school for a similar project. He spent that time amongst the1900 students and 4 teachers, who were using burnt sticks for pencils. Our aim this year is to provide the students with school supplies and housing units to sleep in during the school week. 


Your support will contribute to giving these children a safe place to sleep and an environment that will help them to learn and develop. We would be very grateful for any support you give us to help these families.
