Restore College Memorial Park Cemetery

Tax deductible
College Memorial Park Cemetery is one of three remaining African-American cemeteries established in Houston in the era of racial segregation.  It is located at 3525 West Dallas St. and has four thousand, four hundred graves with many of them unmarked or unidentifiable. It is estimated that it's the resting place of over 5,000 people
If you would like to read more about the cemetery, the history of the place can be found right here.

My name is Conner Roberts, I have successfully restored parts College Memorial Park Cemetery! I hope I can continute my service to this cemetery and do much more! This was my last goal!

--
It is my hope that I will receive funds to restore five marked gravestones,  and even out 6 in-ground headstones, and place a monument for all the unmarked people at the cemetery. In addition to the monument, we will plant two trees for beautification on the site.
--

The community and I successfully did what was above + more, we practically doubled what was above! What I plan to do now is restore 10 marked gravestones along with evening the ground of the entire site! I also plan to build frames for the plots at the cemetery, and supply the cemetery with in-ground headstones for the missing ones!

Thank you so much for taking your time to read this! All donations are tax write-offs and greatly appreciated! Stay home and stay safe!
