Help Take Concrn to The Next Level

$22,519 of $25,000 goal

Our fourth year has been one of growth and increasing visibility for our organization, providing a compassionate alternative to 911 for urban residents - and a compassionate response to people experiencing mental health crises and substance abuse issues. We are on a bold mission to expand our existing work in San Francisco and continue building new community partnerships in the Oakland ecosystem. Are you as concerned about the mental health and safety of our homeless residents and greater community?

For someone experiencing behavioral health issues on the streets, de-escalation through peer-based compassionate response is a humane response. It is also the safest and most cost-effective. This alternative common sense approach reduces police response and emergency services dispatch - a vicious revolving door - saving the City and County thousands of taxpayers dollars.

3,032 Crisis Reports
905 Unique Reporters

Hello to all of our Supporters!

We're so excited and honored by the success of this fundraiser. Our network is steadily growing, and our organization is, too. We couldn't do it without each and every one of you!

So what's Concrn been up to these days?

Aside from funding street responses, continuing to improve our product, and re-stocking critical supplies (gloves, Narcan, hygiene products), we just purchased new uniforms!

Raising awareness around our cause and building trust in the neighborhood is a huge part of our mission, and these uniforms help us accomplish these things.

From everyone here at Concrn, thanks again for your continued support!

Hi All,
Thanks to all of you who have given to our campaign! We've raised $2,645 so far but only are 25% of the way there! Great news to share: This past Friday we won a pitch competition at Tech Done Right Demo Night in Oakland! The generous prize sponsored by the Kapor Center was $10,000. These funds will support our efforts to launch a pilot in Oakland this coming year. But we need your help to raise the rest of this campaign so we can make it a reality. Total program cost is $120K. Please build on this momentum with us to help people experiencing mental helath crises and homelessness in our communities. It's a great way to give before the end of the year!
