We need your help to heal and beautify our neighborhood. Thank you for your support with our project "healing through art" www.freeparkandartlasvegas.com Las Vegas's newest and largest public artwalk in the Historic Commercial Center Neighborhood.
I recently have donated approximately $7,000 to this important cause. That is a lot for a salon owner. Thats a lot of pedicures. LOL =) .
But this project is very important we had some real safety concerns so maybe hood cleaning issues graffiti and all of these have been addressed to help our neighborhood I have recently then working with Brian Paco Alvarez at UNLV and ask for assistance from Clark County and got some donations from business and Property Owners within but we need your help to make this project a success.

My name is Paula Sadler President and Founder of Commercial Center Business Association a local nonprofit since 2006.
I have been raising funds to beautify and improve our local, most historic shopping center in Las Vegas. The Historic Commercial Center District known as The Commercial Center and 953 E Sahara.
And your help is needed to continue to do neighborhood cleanup and beatification. Ongoing efforts are made to keep our plaza safe. We are a neighborhood family plaza. We are seeking funds to provide safety and visibility for our neighborhood, advocacy with the local government agencies and public works to provide services, looking to bring art and public events, farmers market and food and craft fairs. And generally, maintain the historic public areas for all to enjoy.
What started out as a local cleanup effort turned into the project of a lifetime. and a Spiritual Tour-de-force.
Along with the physical aspects of cleaning up the neighborhood. I have been able to employ my spiritual gifts providing Reiki healing treatments for the neighborhood, prayer and affirmation work, blessing and cleansing with the help of my work with the Angels.
& Feng-shui energy treatments.
I saw swift and dramatic change all inspired from a family of seagulls who take up residence in the plaza every winter. I saw this as a call to clean up the neighborhood from my work with totem energy and animal speak by Author Ted Andrews. I received a calling and I answered. It has been a glorious several years with many triumphs and great challenges. Then the recession hit and we were unable to continue as we were. Only keeping up our social media sites, website, and phone lines open and closing the public information office.
I worked hard to Save our plaza from abusive Eminent Domain in 2009 and from Greedy corporate developers not paying a fair price to everyone involved. Building relationships with local business owners, property owners, working with LVMP and Fire, public works, Chris Giunchigliani, former Commissioner Myrna Williams, Former Mayor Oscar Goodman and City of Las Vegas, various local media outlets channel 8, the view, the review journal, citylife, Las Vegas weekly, Desert Companion and Editor/Writer Andrew Kiraly, CCTV 4 Randy Swallow of Clark county chronicles and various online media resources.
This effort has been made to save important historic neighborhoods by promoting awareness of the need to preserve history and a place for small non-corporate business to thrive and flourish while keeping rents reasonable.
These funds will go towards the Commercial Center Historic Society to provide needed services and secure our area and neighborhood businesses for generations to come. And to develop our historic journalistic piece featuring local business owners, musicians and artists in a special historic expose, book, video, and album.
This means so much to mean and the many family owned businesses of our plaza who have called commercial center home for many years.
