A Rainbow Crosswalk for Coldstream

Donation protected
My niece Aasha Sanders and some of her ambitious youth counterparts, have petitioned the District of Coldstream for the installation of a rainbow crosswalk in their community. The goal being one of inclusion for all people, not just to show support of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) groups.

“These crosswalks are for everyone. They are installed to show that this community is a supportive community.” said Sanders.

With that being said Coldstream Counsel, and a few unhappy citizens, could only come up with two main reasons NOT to install the rainbow crosswalk. The first one being safety, which I think is poor excuse as rainbow crosswalks are being installed in every major city across Canada. And secondly, being the cost of installation and upkeep, which brings us to this Go Fund Me!

Please help us, to not only raise the monetary funds needed to repaint a Coldstream crosswalk with the colours of the rainbow, but also to help cover any special maintenance costs needed.

Thank you all in advance, from a loving and supportive uncle, and family man.

Sincerely,
Joseph Sanders
