Thorndike Community Parklet

Tax deductible
Sit outside during warm summer days, catch up with a friend over coffee, listen to live music, read a book, people watch, or simply listen to the birds chirp in a peaceful moment – that’s our vision for a new open communal space in Brookline.

And we need your help!

We’re raising funds so this project becomes a reality and is enjoyed by you, your neighbors, and the entire Brookline community. A donation of any size, goes a long way. Help create ,and be a part of, Brookline’s first piazza!

WHAT:  A community open space in two parking spaces (from May to October) with tables and chairs, all enclosed by floral planters and minimal fencing

WHERE:  The corner of Thorndike and Lawton

WHEN: The time is now! Brookline has approved our plan so we hope to have the parklet up by Mid June.  However, we will continue accepting donations throughout the summer for improvements and enhancements to next season's parklet!

HOW:   You!  Your donation will go to the cost of the enclosure and tables and chairs.   Clear Flour Bread will facilitate the nightly and seasonal storage of the parklet.  The more money we raise the more fun things we can do with the space.    If you have ideas or suggestions please reach out to us!
