Hi, my name is Angelica. I am a college student at LSU currently majoring in Pre-Nursing. Why nursing you ask? Well it's simple really, I love to help people. Of course this isnt the only reason, but it is a main one. Ever since I was younger I loved to volunteer and give back. My friends know me as a caring individual that is always there for them, as well as someone to help them feel better. I want to do this for everyone, including in other countries. My happiness comes from others. I would do anything to brighten someones day, as simple as a compliment, or as great as traveling across the country to make a difference. This campaign is going towards an international volunteer trip sponsored by LSU. Unfortunatley, since I am a college student, I havent started making the big bucks yet. So I started this campaign to help; the money will be used to pay my way for this trip and help others internationally. I have chosen Dominincan Republic Medical trip. This experience would be absolutley life changing and contributes towards my passion of helping others and traveling. The trips are guarenteed through a first come first serve basis! It would mean the world to me to travel internationally to help others with new experiences they could not get anywhere else. I want to see the world and I want to share it. I was recently going to volunteer at another project, however was unable and when I came about this opportunity, I have been excited ever since I heard about it. I cant begin to explain how thankful I am for anything contributed. Everything helps. God Bless.
