Christine 'Shiru' Gichaga Funeral

We are saddened to announce the unexpected, shocking and sudden death of Christine ‘Shiru’ Gichaga who passed away on January 29th, 2018 after a brief bout of flu. Christine was a member of Neema Gospel Church in Dallas, TX. She was a loving wife to James Gichaga and mother to Keysha Gichaga. She was the daughter to Col. Francis Ndegwa and Mary Ndegwa and a sister to Stephen Ndegwa and Gladys Wamuyu, and sister in law to Nathaniel & Ann Warimwe. She leaves behind a rich legacy of her passion for kids and investment of time and resources to those who knew her. She was a generous person full of energy in everything she did.

Our consolation at this moment is knowing that Christine loved and gave all for others particularly the little children.  We are reaching out to all her friends, DFW community area, Kenyans in Diaspora and well-wishers to stand with James & Keysha Gichaga as they plan to travel to Nakuru- Kenya to give their last respect and send off next week.

The burial will be in Nakuru, Kenya on Friday Feb 9th, 2018.

8:30AM - Arrive at Umash funeral home.
9:30AM - Depart from Umash.
10:00 AM - Arrive at St. Christopher's ACK church.
1:00PM - Laying of the body at North Cemetry.
