Chedderville Church Re-homing

The Chedderville Church is the last original building from that community. The Wheels of Time Museum in Caroline, Alberta is working to raise the money to move and maintain the building so it can continue to be used by both locals and visitors to the Museum.

Now known as the Chedderville All Hallows Church and Cemetery, it was originally known as the Chedderville Anglican Mission. It has been cared for by the community that built it in the 1950s.

It took a community to create this beautiful old building and it will take a community to get it moved and maintained so it can be used again.

The Caroline Wheels of Time Museum already has a number of significant historic buildings with period contents and this church is a great fit historically and because it already holds value to the area.

Funds collected are going to the actual move of the building. This requires the entire building to be supported, lifted onto a truck and moved to its new location. The Museum site needs to be prepared (it's going next to the Fire Hall) and the building requires some maintenance so it will be safe to use.

We are looking for financial donations to cover most of these costs but please do contact us if you can volunteer your time or equipment towards any of these tasks.
