Beautiful Ivy is a tiny 4 pound 7 month-old sweet girl who needs the help of a village to give her a second chance for a first class life!! Born in a puppy mill and discarded because she was less than perfect, Yorkie911 Rescue stepped in and is attempting to get her the help and medical care she needs. After thorough evaluations, we have learned that when Ivy was born, a blood vessel she shared with her mom, did not close properly. This is causing her heart to work overtime and if not fixed she will go into congestive heart failure at a very young age. What we have also learned is that this is a very specialized surgery that will cost almost $10,000. We all know the challenges of rescue…there are soooo many dogs that need our help! If everyone was to give just a little, it can add up to A-LOT! Can you find it in your heart to donate and help this sweet little girl to get the medical attention she so desperately needs???

Pennie was hit by a car. We were lucky enough to have a wonderful pilot (Matt) pick her up in Delaware and fly her to Long Island.   She is scheduled for surgery tomorrow to repair bilateral pelvic fractures needing plates and screws.  In addition she will need tarsal fusion.   This will be a long surgery followed by weeks of crate rest and rehab.   Please donate what you can.     Thanks in advance for your contribution.  It means so much to me and the Yorkie911 volunteers!

Meet Storm - an adorable little 10 year old yorkie surrendered by her owners to the shelter vet in Syracuse, NY.  Unfortunately, instead of taking care of her and trying to find her a home, this facility let her languish in the depths of the shelter where for 24 days, she became sicker and sicker.  A volunteer notified us at Yorkie911 of poor Storm’s  condition and we immediately petitioned to get her out of there, but the powers that be in this facility refused to relinquish her, giving us one excuse after another.  Finally, after many phone calls, the city of Syracuse stepped in and removed Storm from the care of this facility and turned her over to us.  Storm was too ill to be transported here to Long Island and ended up at a local animal hospital.  She has severe pneumonia and a serious eye infection.  She needs to be in an oxygen tent and on strong medications.  After one day her hospital bill is over $1,200.00.  At the end of day tomorrow, 12/20/18, the bill is estimated to be $2,700.00 and will increase with each day after. If we attempt to move her, chances are she won't make it.  Please help us keep Storm alive and get her healthy for Christmas.  She didn’t deserve to be dumped and then neglected by those who were supposed to be helping her.
