Wirral Hospice St John's

I am raising funds for St John's Hospice by running 1Km for every premier league goal scored from matchday 20-38

The hospice looked after a very special person to me when they were unwell and provided specialist palliative care to him. The hospice not only cares for their patients, but provides support to their family throughout and beyond the life of their loved one.

We provide care and support for patients with cancer and severe progressive disease where curative treatment is no longer possible. This is provided by a 16 bed In-Patient Unit, Oupatient Clinics, Day Therapy and a 'Hospice at Home' service. Although we receive some government funding, the majority of our income comes from voluntary donations from supporters.

I've concluded I'm not going to climb Everest in my lifetime, so I need another few challenges instead! After losing my school friend to breast cancer earlier this year, I realise how vital hospice care is. Hi everyone,this year, Jack and Haz will be taking part in the Junior Great North Run. They're hoping to raise money in memory of our beautiful Leah. All money raised will go to St John's Hospice, Wirral. The hospice and all its staff were amazing when Leah and Owen stayed there.

Me and as many others as possible are going to summit Snowdon at sunrise on 16th May 2026 all trying to raise as much money for Wirral Hospice. The more the merrier on the walk!
