Hi, I'm Mark Deschamp, and I'm reaching out to you to support the Wilderness On Wheels Foundation, an incredible organization dedicated to making the beauty of nature accessible for individuals with disabilities. Every contribution can help break down barriers and open up the wonders of the wilderness to those who might otherwise feel excluded. We don't turn anyone away!!
We are currently in need of emergency funds to secure and winterize the property.
* We need to replace the front gate.
* We need funds to replace/add culverts washed out by recent rains, as well as add erosion control products to maintain our service road over winter and into the spring runoff period.
Additional funds will directly support the Foundation's mission through:
- Development of specialized access facilities that allow disabled individuals to explore nature safely.
- Implementation of adaptive programs that empower individuals to engage with the outdoors, fostering confidence and independence.
