About Veterans Community Project

Veterans Community Project (VCP) is a nationally recognized nonprofit organization dedicated to fixing Veteran homelessness. Founded in 2016 by combat Veterans in Kansas City, Missouri, VCP harnesses the collective power and capacity of the community to offer a powerful, proven path back to society for Veterans experiencing homelessness. Through transitional tiny house VCP Villages, personalized case management, and essential support services, VCP offers not just stability, but a lasting network of support ensuring that no Veteran is left behind. At VCP, we stand by the belief that a Veteran is anyone who raises their right hand and takes the oath to protect our Constitution, regardless of discharge status or type of service.
