Honoring Veterans through fitness and community
Together, we can help Veterans find strength, purpose, and belonging again.
Every day, Veterans across the country are rebuilding their lives — finding new purpose, reconnecting with their communities, and searching for the same camaraderie and mission they once shared in service.
This Veterans Day, the fitness community and all who honor Veterans’ service are uniting to support ValorFit, a nonprofit that connects Veterans with gyms, coaches, and fitness communities nationwide.
ValorFit’s mission is simple and powerful: help Veterans heal and thrive through movement, accountability, and community.
Why fitness matters for Veterans
When military service ends, structure and belonging often disappear too. That loss can leave Veterans feeling isolated — disconnected from the team, routine, and purpose that once defined them.
ValorFit fills that gap by pairing Veterans with fitness facilities and coaches who welcome them as part of a supportive community. Each Veteran receives six months of fully supported fitness programming, helping them rebuild physical health and emotional connection through shared movement.
As ValorFit founder Troy Peterson, a Veteran himself, says:
“Every Veteran deserves to feel they still belong to something bigger than themselves. Fitness gives us that connection — it’s not about competition, it’s about coming home.”
Our goal
This Veterans Day, the fitness industry and its supporters are coming together to fund that mission — one Veteran, one community at a time.
We’re raising $5,000 to help ValorFit sponsor Veterans across the country in their six-month programs.
Your donation directly supports:
• Gym memberships and coaching for Veterans
• Program coordination and ongoing mentorship
• Expansion of ValorFit’s network of fitness community partners
Every $156 sponsors a Veteran for one month of programming. Every $936 sponsors a full six-month journey.
