How did I get an invitation to play for TEAM USA at the Women's Floorball Championship 2023 in Singapore this December? ...Just 2 years into my goalie career? Well I am telling the long version on my Tik Tok , but please read below for the official fundraiser information. My teammates are incredible young, working, women athletes trying to get funded to represent TEAM USA in Singapore!

My son, Keene, represented TEAM USA in the Men's U-19 World Floorball Championship in Denmark last April 2023. Here is his individual team photo behind me. My son told me this is an opportunity not to be missed...So this December I will leave my family for 2 weeks during peak school and holiday season, and I will leave my husband and team to run our business during our busiest season. It is an incredible honor to represent USA Floorball Internationally. GO USA!

My name is Megan Addington and I am a goalie for TEAM USA competing at the 2023 International Floorball Federation sanctioned 14th USA Women's World Floorball Championship in Singapore this December 2023.

I am raising money to benefit my US National Floorball Team, donations of any amount

will make an impact. Our Team USA qualified for the World Floorball Championship in Singapore this December 2nd - December 10th, 2023. Players are responsible for covering their own flights, accomodations, meals, tournament fees, and equipment. All funds raised will go torward covering these specific costs. On Sept 2nd and 3rd 2022, The USA Men’s U19 Floorball team qualified to represent North America in the World Floorball Championships on April 26th-30th 2023 in Frederikshavn Denmark by beating Canada 20-9 in two qualifying games. This is the first time in 12 years of U19 competition that USA qualified on their own team merits.

This incredible opportunity of a lifetime for these 20 young men to represent their country and wear the red white and blue on their jerseys in a foreign country comes with a lot of pride, but also a lot of costs. Each team member has already paid for their travel and initial team fees, and this fundraiser is to help the team and USA Floorball keep their subsequent fees to as small an amount as possible.

The team will travel to Gothenburg Sweden and spend 3 days in essential training with local teams to prepare for the tournament before taking a ferry to Denmark and spending the next week competing in the World Championships. Hotels and food in Sweden, hotels and food in Denmark, transport within Europe, and team kit needs are estimated to be a cost of $25-30,000.00.
