Do you know that Holocaust survivors in Ukraine are living with NO heat, NO electricity, and NO WATER to drink, wash their bodies with, cook with, or even to flush their toilets?
Do you know that they're also living with no windows or doors to their homes because they've been blown off from daily explosions there?
My grandfather (seen in picture with me) is a Holocaust survivor from Ukraine. This could have been him. His parents were Holocaust survivors too (in the picture that we're holding).
For my Bar-Mitzvah project I want to help all of the remaining Holocaust survivors in Ukraine.
There are close to 500 Holocaust survivors living in Ukraine right now that you and I can so easily help! We have talked with the founder of The Survivor Mitzvah Project who helps these Holocaust Survivors. From the donations that they receive, the Survivor Mitzvah Project has people on the ground there who travel to each of the survivors homes and directly put in their hands whatever the Holocaust survivors needs are.
Please consider donating to this very important charity and providing a Holocaust survivor with water that is needed for so many purposes, as well as blankets, sweaters, socks, slippers, and electric vests and sheets with chargers. The survivors are also asking for something as simple as candles. They all want candles so they can see at night. Your donation could also put a window or a door back on their home.
The money you donate through this webpage will go directly to The Survivor Mitzvah Project. You will receive an acknowledgement of your donation for tax purposes, but more importantly you will receive the name of the survivor that your money went directly to and where they live.
We were told that winter in Ukraine goes until May, so by donating you will truly be saving a life and helping the Holocaust Survivors of Ukraine to get through the harsh winter months that they still have ahead of them during a war!
