My name is Ihsan Yaseen and I am the principle of AlRazi Academy, a non-profit private school and Early Childhood center. This school was founded for the purpose of giving the children of our community an education that allows them to be successful in their careers, how to be great citizens and active members of a community. These students are learning without enough computers, a playground, and school provided lunches.  The money raised will allow us to issue our students Chromebooks as they learn in this age of technology. Many of these children are from families that cannot afford computers at home, making completing homework and projects a major obstacle to their learning.
The money raised will also go to building a proper and safe playground for the students to let loose and have fun. As of now, the school has no playground equipment, and the school has to come up with ways to have fun during recess without them. Many schools have the means to provide lunch for their students. Our school lacks a kitchen that allows us to do so. Nutrition is a major factor for a healthy body, and a healthy mind. For students to engage in their learning, it is important to provide nutritious meals. 

With this fundraiser we could improve our school to give more to these students. We could improve their education to be more engaging, and more entertaining.  For the longest time, I had this dream of what the school could be. A big school, with many students eager to learn, a school with more books than any student can read, a school that keeps up with the advancements of technology, a school that has the means to give its students those memorable friendships and moments in the playground during recess, a school that gives students nutritious and delicious lunches, a school that the students will remember in the future as the beginning that jump-started their successful lives. The dream is already unfolding into a reality, and with your help it can unfold completely.

AlRazi Academy is raising money to benefit our Islamic school, students and community.  AlRazi Academy asking for your assistance to help us with the following projects -  Finish Playground ($6,000), Purchase school van/bus ($10,000),  Low Income Financial Assistance Sponsorship Account ($10,000), School Garden ($2,000) and General School Maintenances and Repairs ($7,000).

  AlRazi Academy is in need for your help and  support during these challenging and unforeseen times. With the growing pandemic of COVID-19, AlRazi Academy has been directly affected. Please help to continue to provide education and childcare services. While many of our community members have lost their jobs, Your help/Sadaqa ( Charity) or Zakat, will help us to continue to provide employments to most of our staff, launch an online Quran and Education classes for students and other students within the community, help the unfortunate people who are suffering a loss in their source of income and those who reach out to AlRazi for Sadaqa ( Charity).

 This is a humanitarian crisis and it requires humanity to come together, but it all starts with our all of us, please be part of this effort regardless of the amount.

   In addition to providing Islamic education, Quran and high standard education and childcare, ARA was able to financially support numerous individuals and families on regular basis; unfortunately, with the suspension of Jumu'ah Prayer and fundraising events, collecting donations to help the school and those in need has become extremely difficult. We humbly ask and encourage you to donate to our school
