This was a kick off fund raiser to support a new arts program at Special Spirit Inc, Equine Therapy Facility in Shadow Hills, CA for Autistic and Special Needs folks (A 501c Charity) as well as an animal rescue that we will be choosing.

       My name is Linda Dalziel and I have created this event to support art classes that I will be teaching at our new renovated barn studio to share the joy of painting, drawing and ceramics with special needs and autistic people as well as the local community which will continue to fund the program.

      TO LAUNCH THIS JOURNEY I have created the 2021 Pet Portrait EXTRAVAGANZA "Questionable Pet Portraits but mostly good ones" to showcase the multitude of talents of my special artists who we lovingly call our Ranch Hands. They draw and paint the beautiful true essence of your pets from their hearts. Proceeds from this event will go to the new Special Spirit Arts Program and a SURPRISE ANIMAL RESCUE BENEFICIARY which will be revealed soon on our Facebook Page and here in our updates, and funds gifted at our live GALA at the end of this campaign.  UPDATE: This year's animal rescue winner is The Pepper Foundation, a 501 c3 that specializes in rescuing and rehabilitating senior dogs who have been abandoned in high kill shelters.   3.  WHAT YOU WILL GET: A VERY VERY AWESOME DIGITAL PET PORTRAIT! Watch for it to appear in response to your Facebook comment. WHO WILL THE ARTIST BE?   You may get VERY LUCKY with one of our Special Spirit Ranch Hand Artists' drawings! (Lucky you!!!!) Or it might be one of the professional artists. (Oooh now you are fancy pants.) But then again, we'll be honest, it's very possible you might get a staffer wanting to jump in on break wanting to "draw some too."(Oh well, when life gives you lemons...)
