Hey I’m Samanyu! I am a junior in high school and one of the Vice Presidents of SkillSprout. My favorite sports are basketball and water polo, which I play for my school team. Growing up, athletics have played a huge part in my life, ultimately making me the person I am today. I played over 6 different sports and competed in many events such as triathlons.

I know access to sports equipment can really impact a player's development and I want it to be available to everyone. I believe my personal connection and leadership experience put me in a position to help Skillsprout grow effectively for many youth athletes.

Hi, I’m Vishal Lakshmanan, and I’m reaching out to share something that means a lot to me: SkillSprout, a nonprofit I help lead that’s focused on giving every kid the chance to play, learn, and grow through sports.

As someone who’s played badminton for years, I’ve seen how much teamwork, confidence, and discipline come from being part of a sport. I’ve also seen how many young athletes never get that same opportunity because they don’t have access to proper equipment. That realization pushed me to take action.

Through SkillSprout, we’ve donated more than $45,000 worth of sports equipment to schools and youth programs in underserved communities, helping kids discover their potential both on and off the field. Your support helps us reach more of these communities by funding new gear, expanding mentorship programs, and giving every child a fair chance to follow their passion.

SkillSprout collects both used sports gear and monetary donations, then connects those donations with local youth teams that need them most. Hi everyone! My name is Anshul Chirayath, and I’m raising funds through my campaign to help underprivileged kids get access to sports gear- because every child deserves the chance to play.

Sports have taught me focus, confidence, and teamwork. As someone passionate about archery, I know how life-changing having access to sports can be. Sadly, many kids can’t afford even basic equipment like balls, shoes, bats, or jump ropes.
