Safe Shores - The DC Children's Advocacy Center provides intervention, prevention, hope, and healing for children and families affected by abuse, trauma, and violence in the District of Columbia, and prevents child abuse through education and training. Safe Shores serves children and youth between the ages of zero and eighteen who have been victimized by abuse and/or witnessed fatal violence, as well as their siblings and non-offending caregivers.
