Stand with Sudan
We are the Sudanese Students Association (SSA) at UNC Charlotte, a student-led cultural and humanitarian organization dedicated to supporting Sudanese students and raising awareness about the crisis in Sudan. Many of our members have family, friends, and loved ones directly affected by the ongoing violence and humanitarian emergency.
Since April 2023, Sudan has faced a devastating conflict that began in Khartoum and spread across the country, resulting in displacement, famine, and severe humanitarian suffering. Millions have been forced from their homes, and urgent support is needed for civilians who are struggling to access food, healthcare, and safe shelter.
Our goal is to raise funds and awareness for those affected and ensure safe and transparent delivery of support.
Funds will be transferred directly from this fundraiser to Sadagaat-USA through their official donation portal.
We will publicly share proof of donation and receipts to ensure transparency.
Donations will support emergency relief efforts in Sudan, including:
- Food assistance for displaced families
- Medical aid and supplies for those without access to healthcare
- Clean water and sanitation support
- Community-based relief programs run by Sadagaat-USA and local partners
These resources help provide life-saving support to families affected by conflict and displacement.
