Help Us Provide Shelter for Refugees in Lebanon

In the wake of recent air strikes and ground assaults in Lebanon, countless families have been forced to flee their homes. Many are sleeping in cars, under trees, or on the streets, facing the harsh reality of cold nights as winter approaches. The suffering is palpable, and we can’t turn a blind eye.

At Rise Up Humanity, we are committed to making a difference. We’ve partnered with a dedicated team on the ground to provide safe and warm housing solutions for the most vulnerable refugees—many of whom have already fled the horrors of war and cannot return home due to ongoing threats to their lives.

We have secured land and are ready to build essential tent structures made from wood and canvas, along with toileting and showering facilities. With just $500, we can provide a family of 4 or 5 with everything they need to stay warm and off the streets, including mattresses and blankets.

This Ramadan, your generosity can directly protect and sustain displaced women and children from Gaza now living in Egypt.

Rise Up Humanity is a Minneapolis based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with an active humanitarian project in Egypt. We work directly with families who fled Gaza with nothing but what they could carry. Many are mothers caring for children in overcrowded apartments without stable income, food security, or basic supplies.

This campaign is zakat eligible for those fulfilling their Ramadan obligation, and it is open to anyone who feels called to help.

Your donation will provide:

• Food for families facing hunger

• Clothing for women and children who arrived with almost nothing

• Hygiene essentials including diapers and feminine care products

• Toys and comfort items to bring dignity and relief to children experiencing trauma

In 2025 alone, Rise Up Humanity helped over 40,000 people affected by crisis in Syria, Gaza, and Sudan. We are a volunteer based organization with extremely low overhead. Our 2025 operational expenses were just 0.4 percent, meaning nearly every dollar goes directly to families in need. We have filed our 2025 taxes and remain fully compliant as a registered nonprofit.

Ramadan is a month of mercy, generosity, and multiplied reward. For those giving zakat, funds will be distributed according to Islamic guidelines to eligible recipients. For others, your support is a powerful act of solidarity and compassion.

These mothers are doing everything they can to protect their children in impossible circumstances. This Ramadan, we can stand beside them.

Launched in response to the war in Gaza, Montessori Yad Bi Yad combines hands-on, child-centered education with psychosocial support, helping displaced children heal, grow, and thrive despite unimaginable challenges. With three permanent learning centers in Cairo, children have safe, nurturing spaces to explore, create, and develop their potential while receiving consistent emotional and mental health support.

The project also empowers the local Gazan community. Teachers are recruited from the displaced Gazan population, trained in Montessori methods, and professionally supported. Their work uplifts the children they teach, their families, and their own households, creating a ripple of impact across the community.

Guided by trust, self-belief, and growth, Montessori Yad Bi Yad ensures displaced children and families are seen, supported, and equipped with the tools to thrive.

Rise Up Humanity is proud to support this locally led, transformative initiative. Rise Up Humanity is a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization headquartered in Minneapolis. We are entirely volunteer-based, allowing us to operate with administrative overhead of less than 0.5 percent in 2025. This means nearly every dollar entrusted to us goes directly to programs and the communities we serve.
