- I believe that our community needs to become responsive to the needs of our citizens, including our children. Peacemaker Resources in Bemidji, Minnesota, is a non-profit that teaches communication skills that can be used to deescalate conflict and empower all voices to be heard.
They offer youth and adults classes and workshops that teach:
Social and Emotional Learning
Mindfulness
Cultural Responsiveness
Trauma-Sensitive Practices
These skills are needed more than ever today, so it is my hope that you can help me raise money by giving to this cause as birthday well wishes. Thank you.
