Pi for All is a STEM-centered tutoring service comprising of students in Issaquah Highschool. At the moment, we are fundraising for the millions affected by the current Ukraine crisis.

 

All profits go directly to Nova Ukraine , a nonprofit that offers humanitarian aid. Nova Ukraine is currently delivering essential items such as food, clothing, medical supplies, baby care items, and hygiene products as well as providing assistance to Ukrainian refugees.

Nova Ukraine is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness and providing humanitarian aid to Ukraine.

We ask you to join us in supporting their efforts and also tell you about our 1978 Naval Academy classmate-hero seen above.

My classmates have all served our country, put their lives at risk, and are old warrior servants now. We just can't stand on the sidelines during these desperate times. We are also doing this to honor our brother classmate, Dennis O., who has no connection to Ukraine but volunteered to risk his life to care for those in pain, and to be a witness to the inhumane attacks on the innocent. He continues to serve into his second year because others are in danger and suffering. With all the fear and horror of war and the discomfort of being deployed in severe weather, we could not be prouder of our BROTHER classmate and FRIEND. Where do we get such men?

Blue Feather Organics (BFO) Siegel & Sons since 2009, we have proudly served as a vendor on Etsy for nearly 15 years. Given the current global climate, and living in California, I have been actively seeking ways to contribute my time and raise funds for those who are suffering, fearful, and lacking resources.

My grandparents were immigrants from Russian Poland in 1905. I have uncovered only fragments of their lives—those they had to leave behind, including their home and family. We can piece together bits of history, likely reflecting the hardships faced by my great-grandparents during the Nazi invasion of Poland and World War II. This resonates deeply with the present reality of war-torn Ukraine.

I believe we can make a difference. For every product you order, I will donate a portion of the sales to Nova Ukraine, an organization dedicated to providing humanitarian aid to those in need. The inspiration behind crafting saddle soap and leather conditioner has always been to maintain a connection to my father, his family, and my sons. This endeavor has been a labor of love, a healing journey, and a creative pursuit that I intend to continue as a maker.

Hello! I am a high school student in the United States with Slavic roots, with both my parents being born in the (what used to be) USSR. I visit my grandparents every summer in Belarus, a neighboring state to Ukraine, and nobody is happy about this war. Many Belarusians and Ukrainians are connected through language and common ancestry, with many having relatives or family members living in both countries. I can say this war is truly impacting people in Belarus and the United States. Both countries have citizens who are connected to Ukraine, and I have seen the impact of the war firsthand, with some of my best friends in the United States being Ukrainians and having family and relatives in Belarus who know or are related to people in Ukraine. Ukrainians are part of my culture, and Ukrainians are part of my community, making them part of my everyday life.

I truly believe the war needs to be stopped, but since that is out of my reach, the next best thing is supporting everyone involved with as much effort as possible. This is why, with the hopes of contributing any help that is possible towards Ukrainians, I am creating a GoFundMe that will send all raised money to a charity. This charity is called Nova Ukraine.

Here is a little bit about Nova Ukraine. Nova Ukraine focuses exclusively on Ukraine since it was founded in 2014. Since the war started, they have shifted all of their efforts to humanitarian aid. Nova Ukraine is a 501(c)3 organization and is governed by US laws. All or part of your donation to Nova Ukraine may be tax-deductible as a charitable contribution. They do not help to equip active military, but instead concentrate on humanitarian aid and saving human lives. For example, Nova Ukraine supports Ukrainian defenders via hospitals, veteran rehabilitation and prosthetics, the emergency service, humanitarian demining, and other contexts outside active fighting. This April, Saint Louis University will present the musical Ride the Cyclone, which highlights themes of Ukrainian culture and features Ukrainian characters. In consideration of this production, the university's chapter of Alpha Psi Omega is raising funds for humanitarian relief as Ukraine continues to confront the challenges of war. The struggles faced by the Ukrainian people are far more profound than what can be depicted on stage, and we aim to demonstrate our commitment to advocacy by fundraising for Nova Ukraine.

Our Emergency Housing Team (Nova Ukraine) has worked with Ukrainian refugee families throughout the year, trying to make them feel welcome and helping them with various problems – everything from housing to living essentials and food. Now we want to give them and their children a bit of hope and happiness this holiday season.

We asked Ukrainian childen to write their wishes to Santa Claus. Then we created anonymous Amazon wishlists, each matching a child’s letter.

Of course, all Ukrainian kids have one main wish: to return home and get their old lives back. But they also would certainly enjoy receiving a gift, to have something to play with, and to regain a sense of normality in this disastrous moment of their life.

Last few weeks, the world witnessed a devastating war Ukraine is courageously fighting. The global response to this war is one of the ways to ensure democracy will prevail.
