NWIRP Birthday Match: Help Immigrant Families Stay Together
This year, for my 33rd birthday, I’m raising funds for three non-profit organizations that I care about, and will be matching these donations up to $330 each, to amplify our impact. One of those organizations is the Northwest Immigrant Rights Project (NWIRP), which provides legal services, advocacy, and support for immigrants and refugees facing deportation, detention, and discrimination.

In a time of increasing attacks on immigrant rights, NWIRP helps families stay together, asylum seekers find safety, and undocumented people fight for dignity.

Support Immigrant Rights: 1000 miles in 24 hours challenge
I’m excited to share that I will be embarking on a challenging motorcycle ride, completing 1000 miles within 24 hours to raise funds for the Northwest Immigrants Rights Project (nwirp.org). NWIRP provides critical legal services and advocacy for immigrant communities, ensuring that everyone, regardless of their background, has access to justice.

This ride, called an "Iron Butt Saddlesore" (ironbutt.org) is not just a test of endurance but a journey with a purpose. I’m asking for your support in this effort by sponsoring my ride, taking place on Wednesday, August 14th, with a donation to NWIRP. My goal is to complete a round trip from Seattle, WA to Missoula, MT. Your donation will directly contribute to the vital work NWIRP does in protecting the rights and dignity of immigrants in our community.

The family separation crisis is here in Washington state. Hundreds of parents detained at the southern border are now being held at Washington immigration prisons under the draconian policies of the Trump administration. Our hearts are breaking for these parents and children. And we have a plan: with community funding we can free parents seeking asylum, while supporting their efforts to reunify with their children. This fund will be used for bond fees, legal representation, and travel support. Join us today and let’s #ReunifyWA.
