Hi, my name is Dan and I am excited to announce that I am partaking as one of the fighters in the upcoming Charity Fight Night that is taking place on the 12th of March in Twenty Two Nightclub, Anne St.

This Charity event is in aid of 3 very important causes and all funds raised in the lead up to the night and on the night itself will be donated to the following: Cycle4 Charlotte,

JIGSAW and NSCA.

Any donations would be brilliant and greatly appreciated so please donate anything you can.

I will be fighting in a charity boxing event run by blackhall. We are fundraising for some great causes:

Cycle4charlotte: raises funds for research and treatment of Fibrolamellar Hepatocellular Carcinoma.

Jigsaw: Youth Mental Health charity offering free therapy and support to children and young people aged 12 to 25.

NSPCA: the oldest and largest animal welfare charity in Ireland.

On March 12th, I’m stepping out of my comfort zone and into the ring for the Blackhall Charity Fight Night. This isn't just about the sport; it’s about the sweat and the struggle required to support three causes that keep our community standing:

Jigsaw: Providing the mental health lifeline our young people desperately need.

The ISPCA (NSPCA): Giving a voice and protection to vulnerable animals.

Why I’m doing this:

Mental health and animal welfare aren’t just "issues"—they are lifelines. Whether it’s a young person seeking a reason to keep going or an animal needing a second chance, these organisations provide the essential care that changes lives. I’m willing to take a few hits in the ring if it means these charities don’t have to take a funding hit.

Every euro counts. Whether you’re coming to watch the fight or supporting from afar, your donation goes directly to providing care, counselling, and protection.

I feel a lot of charity efforts focus on the negative - what bad thing can happen if you don't donate.

I didn't want to set a goal for this fundraiser because I genuinely feel anything over 0€, I'm happy with.

I don't believe in guilting people into donating. I know myself being a student/young person is hard on the bank account.

So I would like to say, if you are not in the position or state of mind to donate, please don't, for any reason.

I am lucky to not have experienced depression or anxiety in my life, but I have seen others who have.

Life as a young person is becoming so much harder, and I have felt it growing up. There is so much more uncertainty, pressure, and visibility on our lives.

That is why I am running the 2026 Amsterdam marathon for JIGSAW - an Irish charity aimed at helping young peoples mental health.

We are raising money to benefit JigSaw -National Centre For Youth Mental Health, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us.

Jigsaw believe a better life is possible for the hundreds and thousands of young people across Ireland facing mental health difficulties. They offer a listening ear, and give expert advice and support to young people aged twelve to twenty five. They give families, teachers, and those who support young people's mental health ways to cope, and skills to be there for young people. They make sure that youth mental health is a national, and local priority.

This November, the three of us Luca, Jules, and Ben, are trying to give our part by taking on a challenge. We’ll be training hard all month to run a half marathon on the first week of December, all in support of Jigsaw, a charity that provides vital mental health support to young people across Ireland.

Jigsaw is a cause that is close to all our hearts. Their work helps thousands of young people find the support, understanding, and confidence they need to look after their mental health, something we believe everyone should have access to.

We’ll be sharing our training journey and updates throughout the month on social media, and we hope to have some friends join us for a few runs along the way. The goal isn’t just to raise funds, it’s also to encourage people to get together, talk, and look out for one another.

Every donation, big or small, makes a difference and helps Jigsaw continue their incredible work.

Hi everyone, our names are Max and Ian Lafford and we are running this years Dublin City Marathon and have decided to run it in aid of Jigsaw. Jigsaw is an amazing service that supports youth mental health issues and offer free therapy and expert mental health support, both online and in person, to children and young adults across Ireland aged 12-25.

It would mean a lot for any donations as it’s for a great cause.

This September, I’m swimming every single day to raise awareness for suicide prevention. Each swim is a reminder that hope is stronger than despair, and that no one should have to fight their battles alone. We all know someone who has fought this battle, and by raising awareness this month, I want to spark conversations, reduce stigma, and honor those we’ve lost. Together, we can keep hope afloat. ‍‍

All donations go directly to Jigsaw Ireland, who provide vital mental health support and services for young people across the country. Your support, in any amount, makes a difference!

Hello my name is Patrick Harris, I am a student teacher in Mary Immaculate College and I will be running 7 marathons in 7 days in 7 counties in aid of Jigsaw. I will be running from the 30 July-5 August starting in Kilkenny and progressing to Waterford, Cork, Kerry, Roscommon, Mayo and finishing at home in Galway. I will be joined each day by one of my friends to prove every challenge gets easier when u have support. But why Jigsaw? As young people in Ireland, we know full well the challenges with growing up.It is a daunting thought in your teenage years and often leads to young people suppressing their feelings leading to exemplifying these problems. Jigsaw provides a service to help these young people through these mental challenges. Do you want to join me in making a difference? Hi my name is Ashleigh

I am taking a leap of faith for those who cant see a way out.

Me and a friend are jumping out of a plane. Yes, the fear is real.. the rush of anxiety, the pounding heart, the overwhelming uncertainty. But that fear is nothing compared to what so many young people face every single day.

Mental health struggles can feel like free falling with no parachute. Stress, anxiety, hopelessness consume to many lives.

Im taking this massive leap of faith with a friend on 18th August in Seville, Spain to raise awareness, to start conversation and to remind everyone struggling that you are not alone. There is hope there is help.

I have personally experienced a young person close to my heart struggle with Mental health issues and with support, ways to cope, skills and education given I firmly believe things could have been different.

Thanks to Jigsaw they have been an anchor in supports given. I want to be able to give back to Jigsaw Ireland for all there help & support over the years.
