I can’t quite believe it, but I’ll be heading back to Anglesey this weekend to join Jones o Gymru half marathon & 10k this year I have made the sensible decision to do the 10k as I’m definitely not fit or able to do the half marathon, 10k is still a challenge for me but hoping to get it done and in the process raise some money for such an amazing charity.

Running Taunton half marathon in memory of Lauren May Jackson.

On the 1st of March I (Poppy Chedzoy-Wilkins) will be running the Taunton half marathon. With the blessing of Lauren's family, we'd like to raise funds for the mental health charity Mind in Lauren's memory. Lauren was an intelligent, funny and beautiful young person who was dear to many people and will always hold a special place in my heart.

Mind is a mental health charity which offers support and advice for those who are struggling.

This Charity means a lot to me and that's why I've chosen to fundraise for MIND. Not only that but there isn't enough help and support out there for those individuals with Mental Health. Any donations would be really appreciated. I have a target I'd like to hit of £600 but if we can raise more that would be absolutely fantastic.

Hi, my name is Yori Rogers, and 2 years ago I went through the hardest time in my life. During this time I was offered support from many different people and one charity that I knew was always there was MIND.

In remembrance of my best friend, Aaron Main, on the 12th of April I will be partaking in a skydive to raise money for MIND and to raise awareness for mental health.

Any money donated, even if it's just a pound, would be greatly appreciated, and any money raised would go straight to mind and would help them support people going through similar things to what I did.

On April 19th, I’ll be running the Manchester Marathon in memory of Charlie, who we tragically lost last year. Charlie was a dedicated police officer, a loving dad to my nephew Blake, and someone who gave so much of himself to others—both in his job and in his life. He is missed every single day by my sister Brooklyn, and by everyone who was lucky enough to know him. I’m running in his honour while raising money for Mind, a charity that does crucial work supporting men’s mental health, because too many men feel they have to face things alone. This challenge means a lot to me—I was never a runner, but I’ve pushed myself through training and will have Charlie in my thoughts throughout every mile. Every donation will help Mind continue their lifesaving work and help ensure others get the support they need. Thank you for helping me honour Charlie and make a difference in his name. ‍♂️ ❤️

In a moment of questionable judgment, I’ve signed up for the Liverpool Half Marathon this March. It’s my first time taking on a distance like this, and while my training has mostly consisted of wondering why I did this to myself, it’s all for a cause that really matters: Mind.

Mental health is something that impacts all of us, yet it’s still an area that needs so much more support. Mind does a brilliant job of making sure no one has to struggle alone, providing advice and services when people need them most.

I’m currently putting in the miles to make sure I actually reach the finish line on the waterfront. If you’re able to donate—even just a few quid—it would go a long way in helping Mind continue their work (and it’ll definitely help me keep going when the 10-mile wall hits).

Sadly we lost our Lyds last year, and if you were blessed enough to have met her then you know how her absence in your life feels like a huge missing piece.

She got a lot of people into running and was a born runner. The best example of her ability was running a half marathon with little to no training and running it to finish like she hadn't even ran a Mile!

So in honour of Lyd's, myself and 4 others (Gustav Worboys, Olly Jenkins, Sophie Bateman & Ellie Bateman) will be putting on our running shoes on the 8th March to start our first of many runs for Lyd.

Sadly there are so many people that suffer in silence and don't know where to turn when things get too much. MIND is a charity helping with mental health, one of many that we need to make sure is here for years to come, to offer help to individuals that need it the most.

Everyone deserves that help if needed , donating to a mental health charitys is vital it directly funds life-saving interventions that public health systems often struggle to provide at scale. and on a personal level I have decided to fundraise via sky dive because I have battled/ battle with my own mental health and it’s a test to my own endurance and capability to do something out of your comfort zone , for example accepting help when you need it !

As many of you know I lost my dear brother Peter back in May 2025 to mental health suicide. He’d suffered his whole life with his complexities and decided life had become too much.

In his memory, myself and Dean have signed up to do the Weymouth half marathon. Which will be taking place Sunday 15th March. He often reached out to Mind UK for support and we’d love to give back.
