Support Nora's Run for Maine Access Immigrant Network
My name is Nora, and I have been practicing karate for six years. I am a black belt and have experience in ju-jitsu, tournaments, and sparring, which involves safer fighting with appropriate gear. I am working towards my next black-belt degree in karate, and a part of the test involves fundraising for the community. I need your help reaching my goal.
I will be fundraising for MAIN, which stands for Maine Access Immigrant Network. MAIN helps refugees and immigrants coming to Portland have nice homes, go to the doctor, go to school, get help when they need it and make new friends. Sarah Lewis, who is like my aunt, is the Director of MAIN, so I would like to help support her organization.
To support this cause, I will be running, jogging, and walking 10 miles per week. I would appreciate it if you donated to this cause. My goal is to raise these funds by October 21st, which is my deadline to qualify for my black-belt degree test.
Your support and encouragement mean the world to me! I will post updates after each run to share my progress and inform you how close we are to reaching the goal.
Will you help me, please?
