Disaster Relief for Trans People in Southwest LA
Louisiana Trans Advocates is raising funds to provide disaster relief cash assistance to trans and gender-nonconforming community members in the Southwest Louisiana region who were impacted by Hurricane Laura.
LTA has become aware of several members who have lost their homes and possessions in the storm and many others who are displaced temporarily without a financial safety net. Our community members will have to rebuild their lives, and we are fundraising to help fill the gap between their needs and the federal response.
All funds raised in this fundraiser will go to Louisiana Trans Advocates, which will dispurse 100% of these funds to trans and gender-nonconforming people impacted by Hurricane Laura.
