Lincoln Families’ HOPE and EXCEL programs supports students and their families to address barriers to academic achievement, preparing classrooms and schools to be welcoming, and helping students be successful in their neighborhood schools. Our staff provide responsive behavioral supports for students, families, and schools.

Lincoln Families NEST early childhood program (Nurture, Educate, Support, Thrive) knows how critical the first five years of life are and how vulnerable young children’s developing brains are to experiences of toxic stress. We prioritize early intervention and prevention-based services that promote young children's and families' social and emotional well-being. By intervening early and working within family and school systems, we work to disrupt cycles of poverty and trauma and build resilience.

In the wake of unprecedented challenges, our educators find themselves in an uphill battle against burnout. Educator burnout is not just a buzzword; it's a harsh reality affecting teachers across the nation. Long hours, emotional strain, and constant pressure to meet academic goals leave little room for wellness. Additionally, preschool educators traditionally receive the least amount of training and support. This campaign aims to raise funds to provide essential resources, workshops, and mental health support for educators in our NEST program.

Lincoln Families hosts several family engagement nights every year, providing food, games, and fun to youth and their caregivers! Your donation will go directly to the youth of Pittsburg and Antioch, helping us ensure that families can leave the stressors of the day at home and come together to celebrate their student's progress and enjoy time connecting through gameplay and art. Lincoln Families' HOPE program knows that by engaging in recreational fun together, families can rediscover joy, laughter, and a sense of belonging that helps them navigate the challenges they face. Lincoln Families’ School Engagement Program (SEP) is making a difference for youth and families struggling with school attendance — before it becomes chronic truancy. We meet families where they are, providing Family Coaching, Youth Counseling, and Resource Navigation to overcome barriers and keep kids engaged in school.

Many families in this community do not have the financial or physical resources to effectively treat lice in their households, making it difficult to break the cycle.

We’re raising funds to create a lice treatment fund for these families. Your donations will allow us to purchase high-quality, expert-recommended lice treatment supplies and create a scholarship fund to help families access professional lice treatment centers. By providing these resources, we can help families tackle this issue with dignity, protect children’s health and well-being, and reduce disruptions to their education.
