Lincoln Families’ NEST Program provides early childhood mental health support to Oakland public preschools. One preschool has been facing a persistent lice problem, creating significant challenges for the children and their families. Many families in this community do not have the financial or physical resources to effectively treat lice in their households, making it difficult to break the cycle.

We’re raising funds to create a lice treatment fund for these families. Your donations will allow us to purchase high-quality, expert-recommended lice treatment supplies and create a scholarship fund to help families access professional lice treatment centers. By providing these resources, we can help families tackle this issue with dignity, protect children’s health and well-being, and reduce disruptions to their education.
