Khan Academy

KAZE is a program dedicated to offering free English tutoring to students in Japan. Run by high school students, KAZE aims to help students with English but also share and learn about different cultures. KAZE, "wind" in Japanese, embodies our focus to connect the US and Japan: wind travels worldwide, threading through different places and cultures.

Our goal is to make donations to different non-profit organizations and charities, especially those committed to bringing quality education to students around the world. We hope to give and offer help to these wonderful groups that work hard to improve the future. We thank you in advance for any contribution to this cause.

Khan Academy is a nonprofit educational organization that offers a free platform for students to learn and understand the content through exercises, videos, articles, and personalized learning dashboards. Their topics cover a wide range of subjects, helping many students with their studies.


“KAZE”は在米日系アメリカ人の高校生が立ち上げた日本人の中学生、高校生向けの無料のオンライン英会話レッスンを提供するプログラムです。風は国境関係なくどこまででも吹いていきます。ときには種子を運び、新たな地で根付くもととなったり、また太古の昔から人類は風を使って、航海して異国との交易や交流をしてきました。それにちなみ、私達はこのプログラムを“KAZE”と名付けました。英会話の能力向上の手助けになるのみならず、風のように国境をこえて、英会話を通じて日米高校生の相互理解をすすめることも目標としています。


上記の活動のみならず、われわれは賛同していただく方からの非営利団体やチャリティーに寄付を集める活動も行っています。特に無料のオンライン学習コンテンツなどを提供している教育関連のNPOへの寄付を募りたいと考えています。寄付していただいた浄財は直接指定したNPOへ寄付される形となっています。


今回はKhan Academyを寄付先と指定しています。Khan Academyは小学生〜高校生対象に無料様々なOnline学習コンテンツを提供しています。生徒たちが自分のペースで、講義を見たり、練習問題をやったりして学習を進めていくことができ、実際に非常に多くの生徒が利用しています。こちらへの寄付をしていただきますと大変ありがたいです。
