Dear Friends,
Hare Krishna.
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
I encountered some misfortune recently getting into an accident with our only Tallahassee Hare Krishna temple vehicle, which we use for every aspect of the temples services, especially for Krishna Lunch serve out.
I am OK, by Krishna’s mercy, only receiving blisters, a bruised knee, chest wall bruises, and a few aches and pains. Nothing that 2 pills of 200 mg ibuprofen twice a day can’t deal with.
Unfortunately, however, the car was totaled as the picture shows.
We are urgently requesting assistance in obtaining a replacement vehicle before the lunch seva and required services swing into full gear this Monday, August 29.
If any of you would be willing to contribute to the purchase of a new vehicle or to donate a vehicle you do not need, that would be a great help.
Thank you for considering this proposal.
Your servant,
Krishna Kripa Das
Insurance will not cover the replacement of this vehicle due to being an old vehicle (2003).
The value was around $750 with a $250 deductible.
This means that we didn't have collision insurance for this car.
Management sidenote-
The very next day after Krsna Kripa prabhu was released at 9pm, he was back to his eternal vrata of 3 hours per day, 7 days a week Hari Nama Sankirtan chanting, offering books to the thousands of students, and passing out lunch invitations on the FSU Campus to everyone he met!
He is a true Vaisnava stalwart exemplifying dedication to his guru, HH Srila Satsvarupa Das Gosvami, and their respective services to His Grace, AC Bhaktivedanta Svami Srila Prabhupada.
Please note:
For any donations over $300 towards our emergency vehicle procurement, we would be honored to host you and one guest to our signature weekend getaway retreat, and Japa canoe float experience
on the recently donated 30 acre, New Jarikhanda Farm Sanctuary.
New Jarikhanda Farm Sanctuary is 1 -1/2 hours from Alachua, Florida.
Please send this to your contacts.
