I'm just a regular person who is fighting every day to save our democracy. I read a story that said that the current administration is pulling $600,000.00 from the Milwaukee Hunger Task Force in retaliation for Susan Crawford's recent Supreme Court election victory. Crawford ran a legitimate, dignified campaign. Wisconsin should be proud and nobody who needs food should go hungry because of the results of a free and fair election. I think many people can help make up for this by donating to the Milwaukee Hunger Task Force and prove that the power is with the people in this country.

We are students at the University of North Texas raising money as a part of a class project for the Hunger Task Force. Our goal is $500.

Nearly one in 11 people around the world go to bed hungry each night, Hunger is one of the most pressing global issues today, Hunger doesn’t just mean an empty stomach.

It leads to malnutrition, weakens immune systems, stunts children's growth, and makes it harder for adults to work and support their families.

This is a crisis, but it's one we can fight together.

Small actions donating, spreading awareness, and pushing for change can help ensure fewer people go to bed hungry each night.
